Identifying Networks
	Over 700 potential networks were identified through internet searches, library searches and referrals. Of these, 261* were found to be eligible. * as of March, 2006

The Journey Begins
	The Core Survey was shipped by air express and emailed to all potentially eligible networks. Respondents could complete the survey online or in hard copy mode.

Core Survey Reviews
	Returned surveys were reviewed for completeness and consistency. Networks with incomplete surveys and nonrespondents were contacted for follow-up. Project staff entered updates into the database.

Data Profiles
	Responses from the survey are summarized in a data profile for each network that completed the Core Survey.

Design of the Searchable Database
	Key terms in the responses are coded and added to a database to facilitate online searches of networks.
